Write for us
We welcome original proposals that give readers a fresh, well-defined way to think about later-life leisure, interests, outings, shared time or the use of free hours.
What makes a good pitch
Send a concise outline of the central idea, why it matters to readers and the specific perspective that makes it worth an article. Strong proposals have a clear scope, a useful takeaway and room for different readers to adapt the idea. A pitch should not depend on unsupported claims, invented experience or professional advice.
What to include
Please share a proposed title, a short summary, the intended format and any relevant experience or sources you would draw on. Tell us whether the piece has appeared elsewhere or is being considered elsewhere. Do not send confidential personal information.
Where to send it
Use the Contact page and choose the editorial question option to send a proposal. A proposal is not a promise of publication; we will consider its fit, originality and usefulness for readers.
